Sunday Adventures: Beaver Falls

My Mom lead us up to these great falls near the church, Beaver Falls.  We packed a picnic and enjoyed the view of the falls (swatting mosquitoes all the while).  Then the big kids headed up the falls for adventure...scary, dangerous adventure.

I took the little kids up about half way.  But there was a gigantic spider swinging on a super long butt thread.  It totally creeped me out and the kids were scared of the height.  It was not going well.  Thankfully, Will scrambled up to meet us and take the adventure from there.

We took a few pictures and headed back down to the van.  Except for Lorien and Wyatt, who insisted on going even higher up the falls.  Again, Will took over the adventure and helped them get back down safely.

After the falls we drove over to the Canada/USA border, just to see it.  We ended up seeing three states and two countries.  Too bad we didn't bring the kid's birth certificates or we could have crossed into Canada and back for fun.  Another time, maybe?
