Seeing some American History in the Rain...

Monday threatened rain.  Luckily, I bought rain jackets before we left.  On a recommendation from our friend, Anne, we went to the Minute Man National Park to check out some Revolutionary War history.  The park was green and gorgeous.  We got a good over view of early American history.

This is an example of a house that is kind of our house's color with a painted door.  I want to paint our door a purple/maroon color.  There are so many painted doors in New England it is beautiful and so charming!  I want our house to be charming.

After walking in the misty rain and getting some good history lessons we deserved ice cream.  So we headed over to Bedford Farms and ate a ton of delicious ice cream.  We may have to try Kimball Farms next time...we've heard it is better than Bedford.
