Greece Part 1 (Corinth and Lutraki)

We flew out on a Sunday.  Jet Lag always kicks my butt.  Will was able to sleep on the flight over and had adjusted his sleep schedule before leaving.  He was doing much better than I was the first few days.

We stayed in Lutraki for the first four days where Will's wrestling tournament would be.  We stayed in a casino hotel right on the coast.  It was beautiful!

The hotel the team was staying at was also nice but we were happy with our hotel.  We were also happy we rented a car so we could get around any time we pleased.

A childless week is always relaxing.

The hotel was right on the gulf of Corinth.  Will took a dip in the sea.  Every day we saw other people swimming every morning.  I didn't even dip my toes in the water.  I wish I had.

One day we drove up to Old Corinth.  It is the ruins of actual Corinth from the Bible.  The Apostle Paul taught here.

The ruins were impressive and the museum was informative.

This is a slave contract.  Depressing.

It was definitely cool to check out all of the ancient stuff and know the names from the Bible.  It was also sad to think about how poorly some people were treated in ancient times.
