It's about time we saw a little of the world....

So my husband is a wrestler, right?  Right.

He can't just coach a high school or club team and feel satisfied, right?  Right.

He has to compete himself, right? Right.

And he can't just compete against other dudes in our area, right?  Right.

He has to compete on the national and world stage, right?  RIIIIIGHT!

Will wrestled in the Veterans National tournament 9 years ago, when Adell was an infant, then again just this spring.  He did well enough both times to qualify for the world tournament.  This year he made it a goal to go.  This year, the world tournament is in Georgia (the country...over by Russia).

Saturday evening, Will and I left our children with Uncle David, and boarded a 12-hour flight to Istanbul, Turkey!  We kind of flew over the artic and lost Sunday somewhere over Finland but arrived safely Monday afternoon.

We had one overnight layover in Istanbul where Will only wanted to look at food and I only wanted to look at old things.  We had a little jetlag fuled fight and came to an understanding.  He could look at all the food he wanted going in and out of shops, I would stay outside and look at the old architecture.  Peace was restored in the galaxy.

We are going to miss our wild crew but we are excited to have some time together and see some new (old) things.
