Dudes.
This is really happening.
Lorien is actually graduating!? You don't know how close it was. All year, she's been putting off two mandatory credits for graduation: PE and Vocational Arts. She decided to take them independently instead of through the high school. All year, she has done just about anything but her classwork for the classes. Well, today, at the last hour...literally the last hour of school, she took the last final needed to pass the class. By the skin of her teeth, she will be graduating this evening.
Simply amazing.
After our temple tour, we came home and had a little luncheon for Lorien. Uncle David and his family and Uncle Alan and his family came to support Lorien.
Lorien got a flower lei from our Bishop and his family and a candy lei from her Kindergarten teacher. She also got two tassels to wear, one for AP art and one for orchestra. We are so proud!
Wonder of wonders, miracles of miracles. Seriously, we knew she would do it...we also knew she would do it on her own terms. Its been that way her entire life. We are so proud of you Lorien!
