Is Lorien going to graduate high school?

We all hope so...so far...no one knows.  Lorien has to finish a vocational arts credit AND a PE credit in order to graduate.  To my knowledge, she has done exactly nothing to get those credits.  So, it's all a big gamble at this point.

IF she graduates (please, please, please, pretty please) she will be attending Santa Monica College down south in the fall.  Lorien got into all of the private art schools she applied to but did not get into UCLA.  Tuns out when over 100 thousand people apply for 6 thousand spots it is kind of hard to get in.  Private art school is expensive and Lorien decided her highest priority was to leave home for college.  We found out we could make that happen at a fraction of the cost of art school through Santa Monica College.  So she applied and got accepted.

Thursday we spent the day touring campus, researching housing options, meeting institute teachers, and checking out Santa Monica Blvd.  We found out that if you are a graduate from a California high school and you take 12 credits, you can attend college for FREE at SMC!  We were so excited to hear about that!  Now to get Lorien graduated...
