School is over!

Every day this week, the kids have come home with back packs full of papers and projects.  My living room is full of papers...full.

Wyatt was promoted from the 8th grade.  He played it super cool but I know he was super happy.

The last day of school was Friday June 1st.  Everyone was happy to be done with the school year.  We got the last day of school pictures in and the kids were off!

Colter had his last day of his first round of Kindergarten.  We told him a few days ago that he was doing Kindergarten again.  He was sad.  He did not want to be an "Expert Kindergartner" he wanted to be in the first grade.  It was heart breaking.  Finally, Will offered him twenty dollars to be in Kindergarten again, and Colter agreed.  So not happy but bribe-able.  In this picture below are two of Colter's friends (Freya and Lewis) who are also going to do Kindergarten again next year.  It will be ok.

Colter got to have a little "graduation" party in class.  Everyone got a little diploma and a hug.  At one point Mrs. Erickson said she couldn't read the names on the diplomas and needed her glasses. Colter jumped up and said "I'll get them!" in a second he found her glasses and handed them over.  It was sweet.  He is a thoughtful guy.

I made Colter and Wyatt a candy lei for their events.

Adios 2017-2018 school year!  It's been a trip.
