The last day!!

First day of school!  August 2015

                                         

Where did the school year go!  I cannot believe it is over and SUMMER IS HERE!  Well, it will be here after today.  They all look so different up there...so young...so pulled together...

We are off on the whirlwind start of summer right after school gets out.  We are scooping up the kids and driving to St. George, Utah to see my family.  After a few days in St. George we head back home and I leave for a trip to NYC to see some girl friends.  While I am away, Lorien leaves for girls camp and Wyatt heads off to Scout camp.  Will and I will be home together for one day...a handful of hours really...then he leaves to chaperone the girls camp overnight hike.  

It is going to be crazy.  For right now, I will celebrate the last day of school!

After this picture we took individual photos of the kids.  For some reason, Adell got super sad/mad.  She didn't want me to take her picture.  We were late (as usual) and we had to hustle off to school.  I told her I'd take a better picture after school when she got home.  (We did)  I wish I knew why Adell gets upset sometimes.  It seems unprovoked at the time but there must be a reason.  Poor kid...maybe she could sense the craziness that is coming our way.
