Sisters, sisters, there were never such devoted sisters.

Three-year-old Clare pushing Adell in a baby stroller.

I have the following exchange with Clare about 83 times a day:

Clare to Adell: "Hi! Hi! Hi!"
Clare to me: "Momma, when I say 'Hi!' to Adell you say 'Who's that?' and after you end saying 'Who's that?' you say 'Is that big sister Clare?' OK?"
Clare to Adell: "Hi! Hi!"
Me: "Who's that? Is that big sister Clare?"

I am not exaggerating here. We have that conversation, word for word, every single time Clare says "Hi!" to Adell. I hope I'll start remembering my lines soon so Clare can stop prompting me.

I have pictures just like this pushing my sister around, but she was in one of those play plastic grocery carts when she was a baby. I loved being a big sister too. They are so cute.
