Separated at Birth...

I think so.
Need more proof?

Straight out of a Laurel and Hardy movie--right?

Ta-Da!

(Imagine me sitting next to you at your computer with my elbow gently jabbing you in the ribs)

So, the new title and header?

Pretty darn awesome--don't you think?

Oh yes, soooooooo awesome!!!

I love it and I made it all by myself.

(I am very proud.)

I agreed with all of the commenter's, the black back ground is totally classy and the pictures look great. So the black stays. Will did want me to say he didn't think the white on black was hard to read, he just thought black on white was easier to read...clarification made.

The more I said "Let's Talk About Six Baby" out loud the more I liked it.

So--no real winners--I guess we'll have to keep all of our kids.

Sisters, sisters, there were never such devoted sisters.

Three-year-old Clare pushing Adell in a baby stroller.

I have the following exchange with Clare about 83 times a day:

Clare to Adell: "Hi! Hi! Hi!"
Clare to me: "Momma, when I say 'Hi!' to Adell you say 'Who's that?' and after you end saying 'Who's that?' you say 'Is that big sister Clare?' OK?"
Clare to Adell: "Hi! Hi!"
Me: "Who's that? Is that big sister Clare?"

I am not exaggerating here. We have that conversation, word for word, every single time Clare says "Hi!" to Adell. I hope I'll start remembering my lines soon so Clare can stop prompting me.

Time Warp...

Check out these pictures:

Lorien (on the left) and her friend Olivia (on the right).  Born a little over a month apart in Boston.

Adell (on the left) and Georgia (on the right).  Born a few weeks apart in California.

It is cool because Lorien and Adell are sisters born 8 years apart and Olivia and Georgia are sisters born 8 years apart too.  See...cool...it is late at night and I am having trouble making sense here...it is cool to me...

Will doesn't want me to mention this--but--that picture of Adell and Georgia was taken with his phone...a second later he dropped his phone on Georgia's head.  It was awful.  He still feels really bad about it.  "Hey baby Georgia, smile while I take this picture of you and then wack you in the head with a phone..."

Freedom...

Adell is seven weeks old.  She is starting to cry a little less and smile a little more.  We like her--a lot.

I've managed to restablish order in the living room and the kitchen.  The big kids went back to school after the holiday break.

Life is good.

Happy New Year!

This is pretty much how my life feels right now.

I am stuck on a merry-go-round and I cannot get off.

Mandy, Cherisse, Misty--any one who has offered to help--come over to my house, hold my baby and keep me company while I try to force order in the chaos that is our home right now.  I have a cranky five-week-old who is only happy being held and my In-Laws left today...what am I going to do?  Seriously, come over...  If you happen to have the owners manual to a fast-spinning merry-go-round, bring that over with you...and some aspirin...

I've lost my camera but I have loads of blurry pictures from Will's phone to upload and blog about.  Adell is getting bigger and I have lots to say.  I am going to try and get a few post in about our family happenings in December up soon.  Deanna, I will post the birth story in November 2009 if you want to read it.

I didn't forget about changing the blog name...I just haven't gotten to it yet...

There is a pile of clean laundry on the floor in my bedroom that touches the ceiling...

sigh...

Where is that aspirin?
