Guess who finally lost her first tooth? Lorien! Her front, right tooth loosened up around May and through a diligent lack of action, came out yesterday. After three months of looking at her smile with a crooked-dangling tooth, I had enough. We took the kids to Wendy's for frostys and made Lorien eat hers quickly. While her mouth was cool and she was distracted Daddy popped the loose tooth out. At first Lorien didn't know what had happened. Daddy had been wiggling her tooth and showing me how loose it was. I offered to take a picture so Lorien could see the gap the loose tooth made. Right as the camera flashed Daddy pulled Lorien's tooth out. It is kind of a cool, yet disgusting, picture. And, TA-DA, the tooth was out. Lorien has returned to eating whole apples with her front teeth, although, I'm sure that wont last since her other front tooth is loose to...

Poor Clark hasn't lost any teeth yet (he's 7) and he's starting to contemplate drastic measures. He also hasn't gotten his 6 year old molars yet, but Emily, who's only 5 1/2, is getting her first one. Life's unfair, I guess. Congrats to Lorien!
love that girl. and i love that new smile--how fun to finally lose a tooth. my kids are late teethers and i'm sure they'll be really late teeth losers too.
xo
So she lost two teeth? Thats incredible. Audrey still talks about loosing teeth. She will find a little rock or shell and tell me that it's the tooth that she just lost. Crazy kids. They'll do anything for a buck.
Nathan has a tooth that is just hanging by a thread but he won't let us near it. I guess we need the element of surprise.
